Employee
engagement is recognised as being at the heart
of leading companies’ success. In addition,
a one-size-fits-all approach to rewards is giving
way to flexible, customised approaches that reflect
the diverse needs and expectations of employees.
Reward optimisation is about getting the optimal
return-on-investment in total reward that helps
drive employee engagement and leads to improved
business performance.
We help organisations in the following ways:
Employee engagement research
Employee engagement is maximised when employees
believe that the company is delivering results
to them. Consequently, a measure of employee engagement
can be generated only if the research questionnaire
is based on the results that the employees are
seeking from the company. We identify these at
the outset by consulting a representative sample
of employees (typically through focus groups),
prior to designing the questionnaire for the main
survey. An off the shelf questionnaire cannot
possibly provide a measure of employee engagement
since employees' requirements are not identical
in every company.
Employee engagement index
We develop an employee engagement index based
on different factors such as employee satisfaction,
employee motivation, employee loyalty and employer
image. We also model the extent to which each
driver of employee engagement affects engagement.
Reward optimisation and return-on-investment
We combine employee engagement, customer satisfaction
/ loyalty and financial metrics to accurately
model exactly how employee engagement links to
customer satisfaction and loyalty and how this
impacts on profit. This enables clients to calculate
the return-on-investment in human capital and
helps target future investment. |
